Aftermath (Documenting Urban Decay)
This project explores the idea of “urban aftermath” through unplanned, observational photography. Rather than staging or manipulating scenes, I documented what I had encountered in everyday environments capturing the subtle, often overlooked traces of human presence.
From rusting structures to discarded materials and neglected spaces, these images reflect the quiet, ongoing impact we have on the urban landscape. The aftermath presented here is not the result of a single event, but a continuous condition shaped by use, decay, and disregard.
By approaching each scene without intervention, the work aims to present an honest visual record inviting viewers to consider how these environments are formed, altered, and ultimately left behind.
