Untitled (2024)

This project is a series of collages exploring the relationship between the human body, fashion imagery, and constructed visual narratives. Through an experimental process, I combined layered materials, fragmented forms, and sourced imagery to create a cohesive collection unified by recurring elements such as red tones, thread, and repeated body motifs.

Influenced by surrealism, the work invites multiple interpretations, touching on themes of identity, representation, and construction. Using accessible, repurposed materials, the series emphasises a tactile, hands on approach to collage.

This project marks a key development in my practice and forms a foundation for further exploration and expansion of the series. which then lead onto my Pretty Uglies Series.
